Our Volunteer Programme

As part of our CR commitment, Aviva and its employees initiated the Aviva Volunteer Programme in 2005 to help our company and our employees deliver a positive impact in the communities in which we operate. Aviva provides a bank of funds and hours to the Aviva Volunteers to support and encourage employees to take part in a range of activities within our community.  These activities include team challenges to support our community partners, fundraising events, sharing skills and raising awareness of the issues involved.

Our Charity Partner

Aviva’s Street to School programmes around the world recognise that every child living and working on the street has the right to fulfil their potential. We will champion the needs of street children in the communities in which we live and work. In Ireland, Aviva launched its Street to School programme in 2010 with our selected charity partner, Focus Ireland.

Focus Ireland was chosen by our employees to become the Aviva Ireland Street to School charity partner for the next five years (2010-2015). Aviva Ireland and its employees will support Focus Ireland to end child homelessness through working with school children, researching homelessness prevention and providing support services for those at risk of homelessness or already homeless.
