Terminal illness benefit

• Pays 80% of your death benefit in advance if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness, up to a maximum of €2 million.
• Is paid on the condition that you have a life expectancy of 12 months or less
• The remaining balance of your death benefit is paid if you die within your policy term
• You must continue to pay premiums after receiving your terminal illness benefit

Accidental death benefit

• Available on all life policies
• Provides accidental death cover while your policy application is being processed
• If you die due to an accident, we will pay €150,000 or the proposed amount of your life cover, whichever is less
• Applies until your policy application has been processed, or until 30 days have elapsed
