How long will it take?

The complexity of the claim will determine how long it takes and how it is managed. Sometimes, a claims handler can settle the claim over the phone.

In other cases we may appoint a loss adjuster to meet with you and discuss your claim on our behalf.

If that is the case, the loss adjuster will contact you to arrange a suitable appointment.

What else should I do?

Always report theft and vandalism of your home to your local Garda station.

Take emergency steps to limit any damage to your home. For example, if you have a burst pipe, get a plumber as quickly as possible (and remember to keep the damaged pipe, as our loss adjuster may need to see it).
