After a relaxing day off enjoying the Radisson Blu in Limerick, the Murphy's set off to Galway for the next leg of their trip, starting off at the Burren Nature Sanctuary in Kinvara.

Day 7 of the Great Aviva Road Trip

The family were set for a very special day at the sanctuary, as they had their very own pig walk tour with Amelia the pig, who the boys absolutely loved. Amelia showed the boys all the fairy doors along the trail (with a little treat at each one, of course), all the way down to the magical disappearing lake, with all the flora surrounding the area.

But of course, Amelia wasn’t the only new friend to the family – Frank the llama, Zeus the newborn alpaca, and some very friendly sheep also greeted the Murphy's!

Day 7 of the Great Aviva Road Trip

The family got to learn all about the fantastic nature of the Burren – did you know that 30 of the 32 native butterfly species in Ireland can be seen in the Burren area?

After a busy day, the Murphy's were ready to sleep it off at the beautifully comfy and friendly Claregalway Hotel. Onto the next adventure!
