Our Breakdown Rescue cover will save the day if you have a breakdown emergency anywhere in Ireland, England, Scotland or Wales. It covers the following types of breakdown:
All you need to do is call us at 1800 44 88 88 - 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We will provide you with roadside and driveway assistance. If you have had an accident, we will provide towing cover. If your car has been stolen and is not recovered within 24 hours, we will provide a replacement car for up to five days or until your car is recovered - whichever is sooner.
We will automatically provide you with Third Party cover when you drive a car someone else owns, providing you hold a current full EU or Irish driving licence. This cover is only available to you, the policyholder, and not to any named drivers on your policy.
Unlimited Windscreen Cover is standard on all Comprehensive car insurance policies when you use our partners Mr. Windscreen or Autoglass. If your policy is Third Party Fire & Theft then you will have to pay an extra premium for this cover.
You are automatically covered on any private car of up to 2,000cc loaned to you or to any other driver covered on your policy for up to seven days while your car is being serviced or repaired by a registered garage or vehicle repairer. This cover only applies to policyholders who qualify for 'Driving of other cars' cover.
With Aviva Car Insurance, you get a Courtesy Car while your car is at one of Aviva’s Aligned Repairers - for up to 7 days if your car is being repaired or 10 days in the event your car is a write-off.
If the vehicle keys or lock transmitter of your vehicle are lost or stolen, we will pay for the cost of replacing:
We will not take off the excess and your no-claims discount will not be affected.
We will pay up to €150 for any one event of damage to or loss of personal belongings in your car caused by fire, accident or theft. Making a claim under Personal Belongings cover will not affect your no-claims discount.
