Fake Fund Prospectus Information

SCAM ALERT: Important note on fake documentation in circulation

We have become aware of fake Aviva prospectuses that are in circulation. These fake prospectuses refer to a fund "Aviva Fixed Rate Passive Global Equity Fund" and a product “Aviva Fixed Rate Income Bond”. Neither of these prospectuses have been issued by Aviva, they are fraudulent. Aviva has no such fund or product available.

We are also aware that members of the public have received telephone calls from fraudsters impersonating Aviva staff.

If you have been contacted by a suspicious / unknown telephone number, that cannot be independently verified through the Aviva Ireland website; or you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from Aviva, and / or, you receive one of these fraudulent prospectuses, please report this to Aviva directly by calling 1800 159 159 or by email csc@aviva.com

It is important that you are extra vigilant when visiting comparison style websites. We know fraudsters are creating fake websites that appear genuine, in a bid to make themselves look legitimate. As such sites require you to provide your details, it may appear less suspicious when these fraudsters contact you offering fake Aviva products.

You should avoid providing any personal details or transferring any money unless you have verified the legitimacy of the product.

A list of available investment products offered by Aviva can be found on our Savings and Investments page. Aviva products may only be sought through regulated financial advisors – a list of regulated financial advisors may be found on Brokers Ireland website.
