Landlord insurance is a type of cover that protects landlords from the risks and costs associated with owning a rental property. It is similar to house insurance and is developed specifically for landlords so they can choose what kind of coverage they need for their rental property.
What is covered with landlord’s insurance?
When taking out landlord insurance, you get to choose what is covered as part of your policy. Protection against loss of rent and you may also choose to get contents cover as part of your landlord home insurance if your rental property is furnished with appliances or furniture that you have paid for. All of this cover would protect your items if they were to become damaged.
