If you have both policies with Aviva, the loyalty discount of 15% applies from the next renewal date of the initial policy (i.e. the policy that was in place first). The 15% discount for the latest policy will be applied to the newest policy and thereafter once both policies are active the discount will be applied at each renewal.

Yes you can. Both policies must be registered to the same postal address . You will be eligible for a 15% discount off both policies at their next renewal date. 

Where the policies are not in the same name, please call 1800 335 577 to avail of the offer.

You do not need to purchase both policies at the same time. The first policy will not be eligible for the 15% loyalty discount until renewal. However, you may be eligible for other discounts such as our online discount, or a no claims discount.

The second policy will be eligible for a 15% discount when it is purchased, just make sure you advise us that the first policy is in place.^{Footnote [1]}

3. Click ‘Get Promo Code’ and note your redemption code or use the copy function just below it which will automatically copy your promo code to your clip board.
4. Get travel insurance through our online form and enter in your details
5. You’ll be asked for your redemption code on step 2 and a 100% discount will be applied so that you have a free policy.

• You will get a free multi-trip European travel insurance policy.
• The policy is valid for 1 year and covers you for individual trips of up to 30 consecutive days.
• Cover is for you, your partner and up to 7 children.
• Your policy includes cover for cancellations, personal accident, medical expenses and much more.

You can redeem your free travel insurance as soon as you have purchased a second policy. You will have 6 months from your second policy’s purchase date to redeem your free policy. However, you must have purchased the second policy before 6 December 2024.

Yes, Aviva offers a number of discounts for purchasing its product online. 

The loyalty discount does not affect your eligibility for a Multicar discount.

The 15% loyalty discount will be applied at renewal to your car and home insurance policy, so long as the second policy is still in place at each renewal date.

If you have purchased your second policy before 6th December, you have until 28th February 2026 to redeem your Free Travel policy. If you have purchased the second policy after this date or if the renewal date of either policy is after 28th February 2026 this offer is no longer available.

No – your Travel policy will remain active until the policy expiry date at which case our travel insurance provider will contact you. 

The Offer is not applicable to Mid-Term Adjustments. The Aviva Loyalty Discount is only calculated on the start date or renewal date of your policies.

Both of your policies must be active for the loyalty offer / discount to apply.

If you cancel one of your policies, your remaining policy will no longer be eligible for the Aviva Loyalty Discount at its next renewal.
