Registering for MyAviva

Step 1: Select Register for MyAviva
Step 2: Enter in your policy number and date of birth
Step 3: If the account is with us, registrations instructions will be sent via email
Step 4: On the email select “Create your account”
Step 5: You will need to follow the instructions on screen to create a secure password
Step 6: A confirmation message will appear on screen confirming your password has been setup successfully. Click on the ‘Continue to Login’
Step 7: You will now be able to login with your email address and secure password.
Step 7A and 7B: If at any stage you forget your email or password, you can reset these by choosing the options displayed on screen
Step 8: If you need to change your email address that have set up to log in with, you will need to contact us.
Enabling Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) on MyAviva

Title: How to enable Two-Step Authentication
Step 1: Log in or register to MyAviva
Step 2: You will see your MyAviva dashboard
Step 3: Select Your Account then select your Account Settings
Step 4: Scroll down to the bottom of the screen
Step 4: Enable the option for two-step verification
Step 4: Select configure two-step verification
Step 5: Download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and select Generate QR Code after you have installed the app
Step 6: You will be presented with a QR code to scan
Step 6: If you cannot scan select Configure Manually
Step 7: If you have used the app, add your account on the app
Step 8: Select other from the options in the app
Step 9: Scan the QR code on your MyAviva account using the app
Step 10: If you are chosen Configure Manually, input the code from your MyAviva account
Step 11: Give your account a name you will recognise
Step 12: You will be presented with a pin for your MyAviva account
Step 13: Enter the pin from the app and select continue
Step 14: Enter pin from app if you have chosen manually
Step 15: You have now paired your MyAviva account to Microsoft Authenticator app
Step 16: You will receive an email confirmation when pairing is successful
Step 17: The next time you log into your MyAviva account
Step 18: You will be presented to enter in the code from the Microsoft Authenticator app
Uploading documents on MyAviva

Step 1: Log in to MyAviva.
Step 2: Select “Check your policy status”
Step 3: Select “Upload”
Step 4: Select “Select a file”. Browse for your document.
Step 5: The file name will show in green if the correct format, then select “Agree and Upload”
Step 6: You should now see confirmation that the upload was successful.
Step 7: Message reads: After you have uploaded your document it will be reviewed by Aviva within 3-5 working days, no need to upload again. On the policy status screen once reviewed by us a green tick will appear under “Received”

Step 1: Log in to MyAviva.
Step 2: Select “Manage policy”
Step 3: Select “Policy documents”
Step 4: Scroll down and select “Request additional documents”
Step 5: Select “Create new request”
Step 6: Complete the three questions on screen
Step 6B: Depending on the document type you may be asked for additional information to provide
Step 7: You should now see confirmation that the request has been made.
Step 8: Your documents will be issued within 5 workings day by your chosen method of communication.
