Once the tide was low enough, their guide led the family onto the oyster farm to explain the cultivation process. They discovered how oyster seeds are placed in bags, gradually grown and graded by size, and then moved into purification before being sold. The farm produces over three million oysters each year, with Ireland exporting more than 20% of Europe’s supply.
